Welcoming Universities fosters a vibrant community of practice through bi-monthly network meetings, enabling members to exchange insights and strategies on promoting inclusion and belonging within their institutions. These meetings regularly feature guest speakers on key topics critical to universities.
Open to the broader sector and community is the Welcoming Universities Summit, featuring key speakers and interactive workshops that explore critical issues in this space. Regular webinars are offered through the Summit Series. Promoted through the Welcoming Australia network these webinars are a powerful mechanism for knowledge translation, ensuring insights and good practice reach a broad and diverse audience. Welcoming Universities provides training and consultation services to universities and organisations within the higher education sector; as well as conducting research and development focused on welcoming, inclusion, and belonging for underrepresented groups in Australian universities.
